Etxepare Euskal Institutua
Independent agency of the Basque Government responsible for promoting Basque arts, culture and language worldwide.
Department of Culture and Language Policy
This is the Basque Government department responsible for overseeing the normalisation of the Basque language and promoting and disseminating artistic and cultural activities.

Euskaltzaindia
Founded in 1918, Euskaltzaindia is the official academy in charge of safeguarding the Basque language. Its mission is to study and formulate grammar rules, promote its use and protect its rights.
Mintzola
Using the Basque tradition of improvised verse (bertsolaritza) as a cornerstone, the aim of Mintzola is to open a debate on oral tradition and encourage interaction between other associated disciplines.

Platform that brings together several associations aimed at developing the Basque language to its full potential.

Movement that brings together Basque language associations and local media in order to encourage and increase the use of Basque in everyday life.
